Roving vocabulary

Howard Fineman is a prick.  So read his articles with extra caution.  On this one, Spikey Mikey Isikoff was even a contributor.  But a line from this article caught my eye (Rove at War Newsweek 07/17/05):

But Cheney—who tended never to give an inch on any topic—held firm. And so, therefore, did Rove, who sometimes referred to the vice president as "Leadership."

"Leadership"?  If Rove called Dark Lord Cheney "Leadership", what did he call Bush?

Democrats including me have gotten fond of referring to Bush as Dear Leader to mock his authoritarian approach to politics and government.  But it gets harder and harder to spoof these people.

"Leadership"?  He called him "Leadership"?
