A golden oldie we haven't heard in a while

Digby points out something so obvious that even I would have thought of it eventually.

James Baker has started talking publicly about the Iraq Study Group report that's coming out after the election that will recommend some unspecified change of course in the Iraq War.

Since the Cheney-Bush administration has been haunted from the start by the ghosts of Richard Nixon and Jefferson Davis, it should be no surprised that this has a familiar sound.

Remember Nixon's "secret plan" to end the Vietnam War he talked about during the 1968 campaign?  The one that's still so secret no one has ever found out what it was?  This is the same thing.  The James Baker Secret Plan to end the Iraq War.
