Micah Ian Wright, author of the well-done antiwar spoof, You Back the Attack! We'll Bomb Who We Want! (2003) has admitted to fabricating his claimed military career, which he describes vividly in the introduction to his book.
Too bad. It would have been a good book without the phony war story he included. As cartoonist Tom Tomorrow notes sadly, "There's an old saying: 'Trust the art, not the artist.' Unfortunately in a case like this, both are tarred."
