I'm kind of old-fashioned. So I've been using the phrase for months for Bush's dilemma on the WMD claims.
So it didn't even register with me when I first saw this that an old phrase has just officially re-entered the mainstream political vocabulary: credibility gap.
When it's on the cover of Time magazine, it's safe to say it's mainstream. Daily Kos has a good screen shot of the latest cover.
(If I could get my act together with the graphics, I could post stuff like that here. Give me a while yet on that.)
