Poor Britney. She had a really tough weekend. She was trying to have a little vacation fun before setting off on a long, grueling concert tour. But then everybody started getting bent out of shape by her little prank wedding.
Her security guy started yelling at her new husband:
Meanwhile Jason, 22, was told by the star's head of security, Big Mo: "What you guys did was totally f****ing stupidly ridiculously insane. I wanna kill you right now. We're doing earthquake control because of you."
Then her momma came out and yelled at her:
About an hour later Britney's enraged mother Lynne, who had flown in from Louisiana, arrived.
The source: "That's when the s**t really hit the fan. She was going crazy. She was blaming [club owner George] Maloof for what had happened, screaming 'How could you encourage my child to get married?'
"She was also laying into Britney and Jason, asking 'What the hell have you guys been doing? She couldn't believe they were still drinking. Then she and Britney ended up crying."
Britney and Jason - both of whom were born in Mississippi, I see from their marriage license - quickly agreed to an annulment. (Jason should have filed charges against "Big Mo" for threatening him, if that quote is accurate, and should have insisted that Britney fire the jerk before he agreed to the annulment.) They didn't have much of a honeymoon:
"Britney spent most of the time going to the bathroom. She was in floods of tears, her face was puffy and bloated.
"She and Jason kept going to the bar. She was hugging him and they were both crying their eyes out.
"They kept apologising to each other, with each blaming themselves for what had happened. It looked as though they were still hammered from the night before.
