CBS apologizes for exposure of Janet Jackson's breast AP 02/01/04
CBS apologized on Sunday for an unexpectedly R-rated end to its Super Bowl halftime show, when singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jackson's top, exposing her breast.
"CBS deeply regrets the incident," spokeswoman Leslie Anne Wade said after the network received several calls about the show.
What they should be apolgizing for is being gutless corporate drones fawning on the Bush Administration by refusing to show MoveOn.org's anti-Bush ad: CBS censors ad.
In Europe, bare breasts are commonly shown on prime time television. Although some Republicans might quibble with the point, most people wouldn't be able to detect any noticeable damage to civilization or public order that has resulted.
Heck, in some public parks in Germany, large numbers of people sunbathe nekkid, live and in person. I stumbled across that phenomenon in Munich a few years ago. Twice, in fact. Hey, I was lost, okay? I averted my eyes and got out of there as quickly as possible!!

Exactly. The whole thing was a farce. She's getting the publicity she sought for the incident and CBS has egg all over it's face. :)
