It's been over a month since I did a Chuckie Watch. And in that time, Chuckie's done got hisself a new revamped Web site!
He's still doin' his "Soapbox" rants. But I cain't find no archives of his classic commentary like there wuz on the ole site. It's a shame he ain't preserved that for posterity. In fact, the quotes at the Chuckie Watch may be the only online record for some of them! So ah guess ah'm doin' ole Chuckie a service, huh?
To tell the truth, I got so sick of Chuckie's ranting over the New Orleans Katrina disaster that I didn't feel like dignifying it even with ridicule and condemnation. He ran one piece on Katrina in which he didn't explicitly mention race at all. But he didn't have to; we know that FOX News was showing primarily African-Americans stranded in desperate conditions there. And that was largely the case in reality, too, not just in the fantasy land of FOX.
And the rant he ran read to me like gutter racist crap. I was hesitant to even link to it. So it's just as well he dumped that one into the memory hole.
Chuckie's gone to a message board format, which seemingly allows for unscreened comments to be posted. I haven't tried that yet. One of the administrators on his Soapbox board goes by "Broose". Yeesh.
But let's see what new-format Chuckie's been sayin' lately.
Apparently, Chuckie's already posted a rant in the new format was about child molesters, a subject he keeps coming back to and is generally pretty creepy about it: Jessica's Law 11/04/05. He seems to think that hordes of child molesters were somehow turned out into the streets by Hurricane Katrina. I followed the news in the area papers fairly closely, and I just don't remember hearing about that. Or, as Chuckie puts it:
During the aftermath of Katrina thousands of sexual predators escaped and have been disbursed [disbursed??] back into society.
Law enforcement doesn’t know where they are which makes them an ever-present threat until they are locked up again.
He also says, "We should be extra vigilant, not onlywith our own children, but we should keep an eye out for other people’s children too."
Chuckie, it gets kind of creepy when someone who's obviously fairly obsessed over the topic of child molestation starts saying things like "we should keep an eye out for other people's children too". Trust me, Chuckie. It don't sound good.
And Chuckie's been a-rantin' about the Same Ol same Ol 10/28/05. And it's, well, the same ole same ole. In this one, Chuckie's bitchin' about how that thar librul New York Times don't tell enough about the good news from Iraq like they always do on FOX. And apparently he thinks it has something to do with Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Harry Belafonte and Al "Sharpeton". And Chuckie don't want to hear no more about this "Abu Grab" thang. Chuckie says:
And from what I can decipher from the conversion of some black power leaders the nation of Islam intends to succeed from the union as it were, with their own minister of agriculture and so on.
I ain't real sure what he's talkin' about, except it has to do with black people Chuckie don't like. Or something. But "succeed from the union" is a memorable phrase.
Chuckie's heard about all them there Muslims riotin' in France. And Chuckie don't like it: France’s Troubles, America At Risk 11/7/05. Chuckie says all these here Hispancis we've got here in America are just is bad and they might just bust out riotin' any day now. Muslims, Latinos, they're all a bunch 'a foreigners to Chuckie. Oh, and Chuckie's noticed them Europeans is lettin' in too many people from Africa, if you know what he means. (And we do.)
And Chuckie's outraged that that people got upset about American troops burnin' bodies in Afghanistan: Desecration 10/25/05. Chuckie ain't sayin' he supports it. But, hey, them Muslim bad guys cut off people haids!! And stuff.
In Profile of a Monster 10/22/05, Chuckie says he don't care if Saddam Hussein don't git no fair trial.
In Now They Have A Navy 11/11/05, Chuckie says there's bad Muslims ever'whur. In the water, on land, heck far, they might be in yore bathtub! Oh and he thanks France just oughta shoot some of them there Muslims rioting over there. Another recurring theme of Chuckie's: gunning people down in the street. And Dick Durbin and Ted Kennedy are "pansy wansy milksops". Whatever that means.
And in his latest, How Much More? 11/14/05, Chuckie's gittin' off on this here war thang:
We are involved in the third world war, yes that’s what I said the third world war. It’s the world against the Islamic terrorists who have no conscience about killing women and children, Christians, Jews, Muslims and anybody else who stands in the way of their insane hatred.
You can’t placate these people, if that would work France would never have had the first automobile burned. They have a large Muslim population, many living on social services, and they sided with Saddam Hussein in the war.
Yep, social services, Saddam lovers, evil Muslims cuttin' off people's haids, blacks in America gittin' ready to "succeed from the union", Latinos gittin' ready to riot and pillage and burn any day now - the world just don't look very friendly to Chuckie these days. And Chuckie's just about to have a hissy fit over it all.
But Chuckie manages to give us more creative phrasing while he frets about it:
What’s happening in France is only the tip of a very contagious iceberg. Many nations in Europe have large Muslim populations and are literally sitting on a powder keg.
Dang, I been hearin' about some kinda bird flu that's pretty contagious. But I had no idea that there were contagious icebergs floatin' around out there! You don't mean there's somethin' to that global warmin' thang, now do you?
Revamped Web site. Same ole same ole Chuckie.

What is it with you and Charlie Daniels? He has just as much right to his opinion as you do. You seem to be possessed with this guy and what he thinks. Who cares? Either his opinion or yours! Your inane attempts to be country cute with your verbage makes you look ridiculous and stupid. You can find other more useful dead horses to beat.
Rocky
And just where have I said Chuckie had no right to his opinions?
That's part of the beauty of free speech - it lets us know who the raving bigots are. - Bruce
