Craig Murray seems to think that the National Rifle Association (NRA) might not be entirely sincere in their official justifications for opposing gun laws (Arms and the Man 04/17/07).
There have been a series of American commentators popping up on the TV, explaining that the right to bear arms is necessary to guard against an over-mighty executive. The strange thing is that the US now has an over-mighty executive, which has completely unbalanced the famous separation of powers. As yet I see no sign of the NRA forming up to march on the White House.Tags: craig murray, gun control, national rifle association, nra, virginia shooting
