Kevin Drum has scored what could be a blog scoop. He's identified the "torn document" that has been popping up and disappearing in the reporting of Bush's AWOL case.
This puts a new wrinkle into the story. And Bush promised on national TV to release all documents relevant to his National Guard service. Or lack thereof?

ReplyDeleteThis reinforces what I said before about Bush's Guard duty. He was given preferential treatment because he was the son of a Senator. I'll be very interested in seeing what the records Bush promised in the interview show - if he ever delivers on his promise to release them.
Sounds like Bush said he'd release those docs...if you can find them! Boo-ya! Someone has probably already incinerated those microfiche, or whatever data medium were used to store the info, if they ever existed...! In any case, I sure hope this issue is one that ends up seriously hobbling his campaign.
